LMS and the PTA present the Sweetheart Dance, February 21! $5 Tickets will be sold during all lunches the week of. NO referrals or unexcused absences starting 2/7. 6th grade will be 5 - 630pm and 7th/8th grades will be 7 - 830pm.

Several students in Mrs. Amalfitano's unified arts class submitted short stories to the Young Writer's contest and are going to be published! Their Fright Club Mini Saga entries were 100 word scary stories. We recognized them with certificates in class on Friday! Congratulations to all!

The Lockerman Association, in partnership with His Hope Ministries, hosts their annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Unity March and Day of Service! January 20, 9:00 am at Lockerman Middle School, program followed by a march to the Caroline County Courthouse for the "I Have a Dream" speech and bag lunches. Please bring a donation of items suggested below or other non-perishable items.

We'll be operating on a two hour delayed opening on Monday, January 13 due to current road conditions and predicted overnight temperatures. If this status changes in the morning, all families and staff will be notified no later than 5:45 am.
All schools will be closed again tomorrow, Friday, January 10. Offices will open at 10:00 am. This decision is based on the continued deterioration of road conditions as a result of frigid temperatures and high winds causing snow drifts. As always, we will provide updates as needed through all CCPS communication channels.
