Everyday is National Principal's Day at Lockerman Middle School! The staff appreciate all Mrs. Necessary has done to keep us "rooted" in the right direction! We cannot wait to see how this school grows under her leadership. #WildcatPRIDE
Mr. Potter's Advanced Choir students represented Lockerman so well at yesterday's National Day of Prayer event on the courthouse green in Denton. They did a beautiful job on both America and Amazing Grace.

Good morning,
We have two important announcements for 8th grade families:
1. Please be sure to turn in your child's permission slip for the upcoming 8th grade field trip as soon as possible. Please reach out if you need an additional copy.
2. We still have 219 students who have not turned in their Proof of Residency. Emails have been sent for proof of residency. In order for students to get their 9th grade schedule, a new proof of residency has to be turned in to the guidance department. Emails started going out in early March. Please check your spam folder to see if the email has gone there. If you have not received an email, please call the guidance secretary, Ms. Cabarris, so that your email address can be updated.
Thank you for your attention to these items!
Let's try this again! ATTENTION 6TH AND 7TH GRADERS, the LMS PBIS and PTA committees are hosting a GLOW dance on May 3! 6 - 730 in the big gym.
Tickets will go on sale next week during lunches. No referrals.
Pizza, snacks, drinks, and glow items will be on sale during the dance!
** 8th graders will have their annual 8th grade farewell closer to the end of the school year **
Families, please note: Tomorrow, Friday, April 19, is a scheduled half day for students. According to the most recent weather report, there is the potential for fog tomorrow morning. Should conditions in the early morning hours indicate the need for a delayed opening, the half day will be canceled and students will dismiss at their normal dismissal time.
(This information was also sent via email and phone call.)

Students in Ms. Russum's 8th grade Flight and Space class finished their Gilder project! Students designed their gliders on software to create their individual blueprints to cut from basal wood. They sanded, glued, and painted before taking them on a joy ride - or should we say flight! #CarolineFamily #WildcatPRIDE
